Intelligent Pipe Scanning System
JD7 has been chosen and contracted by the UK leading water and utility companies to complete the development of our Pipe Scanning technology which scans pipework identifying wall thickness, pitting, corrosion, parent material etc.
This technology is due for completion and commercial exploitation in 2011.
The technology will revolutionise the industry and change the way water mains replacement prioritisation is handled and shift the industry to operate a pro-active approach to failure and leakage as oppose to the current re-active model.
